SOLANO, 370

19 Aug

So.. what’s your story, and by asking that, I mean what do you think has contributed to your sylvia1character the most significantly.  Sure there’s many things, many moments and people and interactions and trials.  But think about it further, just for a second: what is YOUR story, one that’s unique to you, and how you’ve carried and maintained this story.  We’ll explore next session, but for now, just think and write, and enjoy your free writing.  And don’t over-think your pages, just write, attack that blank page as I said today.  It’s not stronger than you, and certainly not smarted than you.  So let’s start writing those stories…

Stories.Good stories, bad stories, so many but only a few make it to the pages of our divine journal.
Why, why do they choose to haunt us and make us who we are? Why are they so valuable yet so uncertain of what they mean? Stories that make you feel proud are just as valuable as those stories that make you feel mad, why?
I feel like it’s been a long journey for me, moving has been my thing for a while. I moved a lot when I was a kid back in Peru, and more than a few times in California,
I worry about being cheesy and maybe I just don’t want to be specific on some stuff but this is it; the different experiences and acquaintances I’ve collected in my divine journal of a brain have shaped me to the person I am today. I believe that being pulled from my extended family, I was very close to in Peru, by my parents and putting me on the other side of the planet, almost alone, has a lot to do with how independent and acceptable I am as a 24 year old.

    Good night,
    Karen
